PointsBet Online Casino Now Live in Pennsylvania

Renowned live sports betting operator PointsBet yesterday announced the soft launch of its online betting platform in the Keystone State. This follows the approval of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB). The state gaming regulator will be overseeing the two-day soft launch window of the online betting service. If everything turns out to be up to standard, PointsBet will be able to finally launch its operation fully in the state.

Ambitious Expansion Plans

The launch of the online casino product follows the company’s launch of an online sportsbook and a mobile sports betting app in Pennsylvania back in February. Given the size of the state’s iGaming market, it is not surprising that the operator has been working towards expanding its footprint further.

All this started in May 2021, when the gambling company debuted its online casino offering in Michigan. Following a successful debut in that state, PointsBet expanded the offering to New Jersey, West Virginia, and now, Pennsylvania.

“It is an exciting time for the online casino market, and we’re proud to be able to tap into this momentum and introduce our proprietary product in Pennsylvania. We are quickly scaling our online casino business and looking forward to expanding and refining our suite of products throughout the year to deliver more options for our users in PointsBet online casinos.”

Manjit Gombra Singh, PointsBet President of Product and Technology

Pennsylvanian gamers can now look forward to best-in-class sports betting products as well as best-in-class casino content as well – creating a holistic PointsBet user experience. Not many other states offer that much choice.

More Options for Players in Pennsylvania

PointsBet is not the only company that has had its sights set on the lucrative market in Pennsylvania. Last Tuesday, the Video Slots Group revealed intentions to open a Mr. Vegas casino in the state next year. This will be facilitated through a market access deal the operator inked with Caesars Entertainment.

Mr. Vegas is launching in Pennsylvania for the first time, with hopes to expand to additional states. Aside from Pennsylvania, the platform’s highly-acclaimed products and services are also available in West Virginia, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Michigan. That includes a collection of more than 2,000 amazing online games. Popular options in the collection include online slots, live casino games, video poker, and table games like blackjack, baccarat, and roulette.
