NetEnt Extends Footprint in UK Market with Betfred Partnership
NetEnt is doubling down on its efforts to become a force to reckon with in the United Kingdom’s gambling industry. The casino content provider that is headquartered in Sweden has recently inked a lucrative supply deal with Betfred, one of the biggest gaming operators in the UK and upcoming operator in the US.
The Terms of the Partnership
As per the terms of the partnership agreement between the two companies, NetEnt will be providing a robust range of online games to the Betfred gaming platform. This will give the company access to the gaming operator’s huge customer base all of whom are always on the lookout for new and exciting offerings. These casino games are already available to Betfred customers in the UK.
“We are obviously delighted to partner up with one of the leading UK operators with their large base of dedicated players. I’m certain that the Betfred players will enjoy our games with unique features and that our tools will help Betfred grow their business within online gaming.”
Andy Whitworth, the managing director of NetEnt UK said about the partnership.
Betfred also stands to gain quite a lot from the partnership. According to Andrew Horne, the gambling brand’s head of digital gaming, the decision to go with NetEnt was a no-brainer. He pointed out that NetEnt has always been widely known for its emphasis on delivering quality gaming solutions to its partners and customers. They are also happy that they will now be able to treat their growing player base to even more exciting experiences through the puffed-up catalog of games.
NetEnt’s Expansion Efforts
Betfred aside, NetEnt has been working on inking several other lucrative partnerships in Europe. The recent partnership was preceded by the company’s launch of a brand-new jackpots system. At about the same time, the company also got into another lucrative Scout Gaming distribution agreement that was then followed by another partnership with FashionTV.
Still in the United Kingdom, NetEnt has also recently inked another lucrative content distribution deal with the country’s Blueprint Gaming. The gambling provider is a subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group in Germany. This particular partnership is pretty important since it will allow NetEnt to spread its wings even further in the United Kingdoms’ retail gambling space.
Everything is definitely going to be much easier since the company has already set up camp in the UK – it opened a new office in London last year in September. Its physical presence will go a long way in ensuring the success of its very ambitious expansion plans.
