Renowned European online gambling operator Tipico has had its sights set on the USA’s online gambling market for quite some time. The operator is now forging ahead with these plans by pursuing an expansion campaign in the country and this will start with New Jersey which is the first US state it will be debuting its offerings in.

Tipico has already filed its application with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and is now awaiting approval from the regulator. There is a lot of optimism that the gaming regulator will approve the license application especially because of Tipico’s stellar reputation in the online gambling industry.

Partnership with Scientific Games

For its New Jersey venture, Tipico has chosen to partner with Scientific Games, one of the world’s leading iGaming solutions providers. The tie-up presents a unique opportunity for both companies to capitalize on an already lucrative market.

As per the terms of the agreement, Scientific will be providing Tipico with its top-of-the-line OpenGaming System aggregation platform. The online gambling solutions provider will also be providing Tipico with its very robust OpenGaming product Suite which comprises of an extensive library of over 2,000 high-quality casino games. These include both in-house titles developed by Scientific Games themselves as well as those that are from other equally accomplished third-party game development studios.

According to SG Digital senior vice president of casino Dylan Slaney, Tipico’s decision was highly welcomed particularly because it is a reaffirmation of the company’s reputation as a leading supplier not just in New Jersey but the United States as a whole. Their collaboration will certainly go a long way in strengthening them and the market.

Tipico’s top management is also pretty excited about the new arrangement. They are anticipating that the partnership with Scientific Games will play a vital role in the plans for the United States’ online gambling market.

“With a solid history in the highly regulated US market, a huge library of games and proven platform technology, Scientific Games provides us with a strong foundation to build from as we continue to expand our gaming offerings.”

Adrian Vella, managing director of Tipico’s US business.

If things go according to plan, the operator’s online sportsbook is likely to go live sometime in the fall of 2020.

Other Partnerships

It is also worth noting that what Tipico has applied for is to be a sub-licensee of Ocean Casino Resorts in Atlantic City. This is simply a move that should ensure that it is in compliance with state laws. Nevertheless, both are going to benefit from it.

Another company that Tipico has partnered with is Digilant. This particular partnership is going to facilitate the operator’s market launch strategy. Their plans for both online sports betting and online gambling will get a much-needed boost from this.
