DraftKings, one of the renowned names in U.S. sports betting, has expanded its portfolio with the Pennsylvania launch of Electric Poker<\/a>, a real-money jackpot-style poker game. The strategic expansion follows a successful trial run in Michigan earlier this year and is DraftKings’ latest attempt to strengthen its position in the competitive online gaming business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operator stands to gain from both innovation and considerable income potential with the debut of Electric Poker in Pennsylvania, as it targets a sector of poker players that is both casual and professional <\/strong>and is seeing tremendous growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raising the Bar for No-Limit Hold ’em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Electric Poker, currently available via the DraftKings app<\/a>, is a fresh and exciting way for poker fans in Pennsylvania to play the game. Its unique take on the widely played No-Limit Hold ’em variant is its main selling point. There are four different buy-in levels in the game’s three-handed tournaments: $1, $5, $10, and $25. With that, players have the opportunity to win up to 10,000 times their initial stake. That amounts to a possible prize pool of a whopping $250,000 at the maximum buy-in level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fast-paced nature of Electric Poker also provides a dynamic gaming experience, perfect for both casual and seasoned players. To make it more appealing to a wider variety of players, the game switches to a winner-take-all mode for multipliers below 4x and introduces larger reward pools for multipliers beyond that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launching in Pennsylvania is only one step in DraftKings’ larger strategy to increase its presence in regulated U.S. markets. In terms of future Electric Poker launches, New Jersey is a strong contender.
